Brighton player doesn't even make contact with him.

Clearly no penalty as he touched he ball first.

Also a booking for simulation, cheating.

How can there be no contact as well as touching the ball "first"?

Watch it, you can see the brighton player pulled his foot back clear then 'both feet off the ground' dive.

I watched it from all angles on the replays. It's a soft penalty and one that normally gets given nowadays.

You can still over exaggerate and go down like a sack of shit when getting kicked, it's not exclusive to no contact.

I also don't think Lamptey should have got a second yellow and Trezeguet should have got a straight red.

what you’re seeing is called a ‘bounce’ in physics.

just to make clear you have no idea what you’re talking about, here’s the quote from Solly March himself.

Quote

"For a moment I had my heart in my mouth but I got a bit of the ball. I haven't seen it back but sometimes with the follow-through you cannot avoid making contact."

No contact?

Watch the Brighton players leg after whilst trez is mid air, look at his body shape as he's trying to stop himself from falling as he's tripped, it's a bit like Cahill vs grealish when grealish "dived" it's so good a dive that the defender reacts to it

Not only is there contact he's whacked him

Its not a dive, it's exaggerated but it's not a dive

Its the minutest contact on the ball that's stopped it being given and that is bollocks as the ball is still in trezs possession

Depends what you mean by a dive to be honest. The fall is a dive, but he gets kicked in the shin.

Fact is the brighton player touched the ball first, no pen.

How can that be questioned?

That's exactly why the ref reversed his decision after viewing it.

Because "touched the ball first" is not in the rules, it's a myth

because the ball is still at Trezeguet’s feet when he follows through into his shin, fouling him. it’s ridiculously simple.

The ball brushed the bloke's ankle and if Trezeguet wasn't impeded I'm of the opinion Trezeguet would've kept control of the ball. He might've touched the ball but he didn't dispossess him.
