Haven’t Everton recently signed that Ukrainian left-back Mykolenko for £17m as Digne’s replacement?

They have but he is going to take time to adapt to Premier League

My goodness. Not a great day for Matty. Terrible half.

To be honest he's been SO bad I'm starting to think he's not even worth keeping as back up. I'm thinking we probably need to cash in while we can and get in 2 left backs.

No fans can make you feel like a world beater. He can't take the pressure.

He also benefitted greatly from having Gresford in front, occupying all of the opposition.

Been so poor. Gutted for him but he’s been crap for a while now.

Ive always thought it to be a nonsense theory, but could it be that he struggles with the pressure of a crowd and his form was down to empty stadiums?

Can’t see us not signing a left back.

Gutted for him tbh. His confidence looks absolutely shot.

I’m pleased for the team that we’re signing Digne, but I take no pleasure in how things have worked out for Matty Targett.

Who would? He's a Villa player. Nobody wants him to be shit but he is.

Pretty sure that's the case.

He doesn't seem to have much confidence and will have heard the Digne rumours now.
