Incidentally the only (league) goal he scored last season. Then we have to go back another full year to find his previous one that was scored on April 28th 2018 against Leicester. That's £120k/w for a guy who has a scoring rate on once per year The guy has had his knees destroyed by injuries. He is finished. All of his movement is the way you'd expect a second striker in a front 2 to play. So given that we don't have much option, I think we just need to play a front 2 of Wesley and Kodjia. Kodjia did just as well if not better with his work on the ball. Wesley simply has to be dropped. Smith has been setting all the wrong incentives for starting him for so long whilst not delivering. No credit at all from me for laying the ball off under no pressure in the middle of the park - he has literally no idea where he should be when we go forward - just stands around looking bewildered. Ings and Long are journeyman striker but looked world class in comparison.
