It's crazy to think it's only a few years since he rocked up and Terry told him where to stand n that. He had a transformative effect on us that year we got promoted and I don't think I remember any one player having such an effect on us as a team. I remember God tweeting "there's a new sheriff in town" a few games into his spell here on loan. There's a special bond with Tyrone between the fans, the club and Mings in my humble opinion. You can't describe it or bottle it or manufacture it. I genuinely hope he stays here for the rest of his career. MrsVM has little interest in the football but if Mings crops up in conversation at all she can answer all the questions from people - about my man-crush to why he's good at the football, why he's better than Maguire and why he's a great human being. Because for years now I've kept banging on about how bloody great he is. Armband or not he's a leader, by example. He's classy in when he speaks and when he's silent. After everything he's been through this season and last he deserves the praise headed his way. He deserves that England place. Never leave Ty.
