It’s a business and at present it’s failing on the pitch, which in turn is costing us money. I wont be too harsh on him with gerrrad but the next one has to be right It has to be a statement appointment. No more gambles. I dont believe the gerrard and purslow friendship was the main factor. I think his slick talking would have won them over like a proper oily car salesman. Also his name would have raised the profile of the club.
