The reload as well.  One, long round being fired off.  A 15 second pause.  The same again.

Just horrifying :(

You'd imagine, even though he was spraying, that at the distance he was at, he'd probably have some sort of scope on the rifles.

**** maniac.

as mentioned, they did nothing when 26 toddlers were slaughtered. They're a **** mess of a country.

I do wonder how they remain a global power going forwards. They are an absolute mess in many ways, can they go broke?

Its like a badly run business, will they eventually run into issues?

there seems to be so many Americans, politicians, states, various forms and levels of their government that dont seen to want to tackle the problem

its not hard to implement a system where the 8 guns, the stockpiling of bullets, his gun membership details etc etc are all tracked...it might be a god given right as an american to be able to own a gun but to own 8 guns, a couple of rifles and thousands of bullets when you're a 64 year bloke living in a retirement village? crazy that theres never any thought process as to what he does with all of them, at his age and where he lives its not hunting, its not for protection or security, so he just likes owning guns and shooting shit?

As I said probably all BS.

On another note apparently some woman was escorted from the area 45 minutes before the shooting yelling you're all going to die tonight.

To be fair, I've heard people getting chucked out of nightclubs and pubs shouting that sort of bollocks.  Could've been anybody.

True.

Just the timing that is a bit scary.

Oh yeah, I bet. It could've been them. But if he had 10 guns in his room, the attack was planned for up there.  This girl is saying that they were hispanics trying to force their way in to the gig.  She also said she's scared about flying home tomorrow, which someone responsible needs to reassure her will likely be absolutely fine.

Killed himself, **** coward.  At least he gave himself the choice that he didn't give the 20,000 people he peppered with bullets, **** disgraceful human piece of shit.

A word isn't strong enough, but word removed is a good start.

Chris Rock would like his royalty cheque posted to him please.

Its a shame that a throwaway comedy line is actually the most effective form of gun control i have heard suggested.

Well that was always going to be the case. These type of "attacks" are usually people angry with someone or society in general and want to take out their vengeance and get their 15 minutes of fame before they commit suicide.

406 injured, unbelievable.  Like everyone else I'm just dumbfounded that someone can get hold of that kind of arsenal.

There are plenty of americans with huge collections of guns, And those are just the perfectly legal ones

Meet America's gun super-owners – with an average of 17 firearms each

Some are collectors with elaborately curated selections of historical firearms, while others are ‘just accumulators’. They say it is surprisingly easy to get to 17

If you'd cut this bullshit out of your post, people might have taken it for actual regret.

Of course it's regret. I was wrong plain and simple. I was being a bit sarcastic, but everyone seems to have taken offence to it.
