Is he? Can't see him tracking back and supporting Hutton. Could be wrong,

I’d hope it will be us on the front foot tonight and Preston on the defensive .

we will soon know the team and if grabban and Grealish do start I feel hogan will flourish

Two things can be true at the same time:

a - we offered him no service and everything was launched six yards over his head, and

b - when the ball did go near him he offered almost nothing.

He also missed a great chance at around 70 or 75 minutes when he got loose on the edge of the six-yard box and tamely headed wide because he hadn't got his stance sorted.

As much of a grafter as he is, he is painfully limited. In tight areas he is practically useless, and his awareness/intelligence is poor as well. Grabban has to start the new few games, and hopefully be our main striker for the rest of the season.

without a creative offensive-minded midfield that can contain the ball until an opening appears, he offers us very little. I think he improved in the second half when he had Davis helping out with the holding up of the ball and Grabban making runs. I kinda liked seeing 3 attackers on the pitch at the same time :)
