Keener window-cleaner Posted December 16, 2017 Share Posted December 16, 2017 We started the season awful just sitting back defending, then there was much preassure on Bruce, he changes the tactics and we played more expansive and attacking for a couple of games and got some good results. Since then we have step by step gone back to the cautious defensive Bruce tactics. a m ole Posted December 16, 2017 Share Posted December 16, 2017 His shtick is to get results over anything else. Problem with that is when the results don’t come there’s nothing to hang your hat on. From the way we play, when we go into a game after a loss there’s nothing that makes you think “bad game but we’re a good side and will win this one”. It feels like “can we nick a win here even if we don’t play well”. That’s never the hallmark of a team trying to win the league. If we don’t get a win to shut us upx it’s VERY easy as a fan to look at the actual football Bruce sets us up to play and say this isn’t going to be successful long term. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If i remember correctly he was forced into changes for the norwich game because of injuries.
