Stevo985 Posted October 31, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted October 31, 2015 We **** up by not getting Big Sam in to be honest Big f*ck upI'm not sure I'd call it a **** up. I might be being optimistic but if Garde keeps us up, as KSV says he's probably a better long term solution. But I do think Big Sam was an opportunity missed. I really wish he hadn't got the Sunderland job.

supernova26
Gatlier bit of a hard man rep...sure he was at Portsmouth for a bit? He's doing well with St Etienne this season 3rd in the league

powell91
id be happy with either if not maybe have MON director of football Mcliesh head coach, sherwood defensive coach and lambert as attacking coach.

Mantis
id be happy with either if not maybe have MON director of football Mcliesh head coach, sherwood defensive coach and lambert as attacking coach.I lol'd, but funnily enough Lambert had a reputation for being attacking when he first came here and this is what worries me about the club. It does seem as if managers change for the worse after a time here.
Kingman
Big Sam could still be available and work for free,Trouble is someone down at B6 has an infatuation with a French remit!
Woodytom
Just don't see why so many are confident that Garde could be the answer. Just another experiment that we could really do without.
VillanousOne
Because I doubt there are many better alternatives. It's either dogged old has beens with this magical 'Premiership experience' or young managers from lower leagues with potential, or foreign managers from the top leagues. To me all of those represent equal gambles. Moyes was probably the only better option out there and he's ruled himself out.

Richard
Big Sam was a double missed opportunity because I think he would have kept us up and now he will improve a direct rival to keep them up.
