Haha

“Do you think, looking back, that you were too focused on saving lives, do you regret that you didn’t spend your time prowling the corridors of Downing Street, checking that no one was having a party?”

Right out of the Laura K book of fawning journalism :D

Prowling the corridors, searching for hidden parties rather than...Looking around at the parties he was actually attending. They really think people are stupid enough to let them rewrite recent history in plain sight.

Left wing economic establishment.

:crylaugh:

She 'ran' the country. She had the keys to the kingdom. 6 weeks in charge, 2 of which she couldn't do anything thanks to a dead nonageneraian, and she still did her best to crash the economy.

There's an article on the New Statesman this week saying she's the future of the Tories.

Here's hoping.

Unbelievable, front page on the BBC her excuses. These tax cuts tanked our economy and she still appears to want another go, risking it all. The markets are the judge and jury, once they turn against an idea or principal it's game over. I'm sorry but the lunatics really have taken over the country. 🤔

F me. It was only a few months ago. We all saw it happen. If the learning she has taken away from the experience is that it was all someone else's fault then she really is lost. Totally and utterly adrift from reality. She belongs more in a Waco Texas cult than Downing Street.

To summarise her 4,000 words:

Her ideas were never given a chance, she still thinks they were right, but she’d do things differently if she could go back.

Thats the type of clear leadership we got at the time.

Seems that leadership these days means something completely different. I'm pretty sure that leadership traditionally meant tanking responsibility and protecting those under your control.

Now it seems to mean blaming everything that goes wrong on everyone but yourself, and throwing all your colleagues under a bus.

We live in strange old times.
