Tony Pulis still managed to play him every week last year and they were very solid defensively. He obviously wanted to play for Villa. I really don't get why people get so angry about Lescott. Clearly we were sold a total lemon, classic asymmetric information problem, we thought we were getting West Brom's player of the season, a consistent former who still had it, whilst West Brom knew he wasn't up to it anymore. He has flopped no worse than any other central defender-With the possible exception of Okore Lescott & Okore together didn't look too bad.
