Zatman
easily our best attacking threat, we be even worse without him
AVTuco Posted December 26, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted December 26, 2015 Great penalty in a high stress situation, I just wish he'd be a bit more something ... in the box... more involved/better positioned or something. All goals don't have to be beauties.
OutByEaster? Posted December 26, 2015 Moderator Share Posted December 26, 2015 5 in 9 - as part of a better attacking set up I think we'd see more of his quality.

Him and Benteke would've been brilliant together so imo we need to look and try and get someone who can poach goals in the 6 yard box in January, if not Charlie Austin then someone from abroad. Farlz
Brilliant again, stepped it up so much lately. He's so good dribbling with the ball.

Jareth
Ayew's defending today was ace, the amount of times he ran back to deep inside his own half and stole the ball summed up his commitment to the team and his will to win. If anyone deserves a victory soon it is him.
VillaChris
Let's just hope there isn't some ridiculous relegation release clause in his deal. Either we keep him and he leads our fightback with 20 + goals or we sell him for 15m + and we rebuild with those funds as you certainly don't need to be spending 50m to be competitive in the championship. useless
If we go down we won't be keeping him. The way's he going we might struggle to keep him, if we stay up.
chappy
Fantastic today, he's leading the fight for us at the moment. He was absolutely everywhere!
honest_bertie
Great penalty, excellent attitude, fighter and think he speaks well and honestly. He said a few weeks ago after losing we are getting better and that things will turn around. He's right, slowly things are improving. Still think we are down but like him as a player. Need to keep him Okore and Veretout for championship, build team around them.
DCJonah
Our best attacking player and works ridiculously hard to help out defending.

sexbelowsound
Absolute beast. Wherever there is a lose ball to pick up he gets it, even if its in defence.
useless
He's already been compared to Eto'o and Yorke and in some ways he reminds me of Suarez too.

I merely recalled someone else on this forum making that comparison. Of Gil and Bierhoff are different types of player and play in different positions but Ayew and Suarez play in the same position and have similar qualities. Of course I'm not saying Ayew is as good but I didn't think that that would need pointing out.

Jay.P.A
^ The way he closes down and wins the ball from defenders? Just a wild guess.
