I don't think he was that bad as a leader (nothing to do with performance). There was talks during this summer on here, that the reason we didn't sell was because he was a good voice in the dressing room. Who else last season was going to be captain? But he's a physical beast and he can play better than most of our midfield. I've no problem if Bruce wants to use him - but please, please not at CB. VillaChris Posted October 13, 2016 Share Posted October 13, 2016 Poor attitude...his comments on Delph set the tone and then that interview blaming Garde and the foreign signings. I think one of our best players this season has been Bacuna....took so much stick last season but in fairness has knuckled down and I think played pretty well in most of the games. Rodgers has played at really low level football and managed for 8 years or so. Bruce has amassed over 700 professional games (in defence, no less) and has been managing for almost 20 years.
