useless
That's according to David Ornstein maybe he's right, but the same website have quoted Lambert as saying just yesterday that we're going to try and do one or two deals.

jacketspuds
If we are done then the only thing left to do is push for a change in manager as Lambert can not even get goals from this squad, let alone wins. If we can sign a ACM and a striker we may stand a chance.
useless
Looking at Ornstein's twitter and in September he was saying that Arsenal wouldn't be signing a striker and then they went and signed Welbeck.
romavillan Posted February 2, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted February 2, 2015 "No business for Villa Posted at 08:47 "Aston Villa are not planning to do any more business before the transfer window closes at 11pm today. "Villa lost 5-0 at Arsenal on Sunday to leave them three points above the relegation zone after eight league games without a win and more than 10 hours without league goal. "But having recruited Carles Gill from Valencia for £3.2m and Scott Sinclair on loan from Manchester City, they are not expecting any further arrivals."" useless
Lambert would know if there was no chance of any signings at all. As I say the guy on the BBC who's says we won't be doing any business also said on the last deadline day that Arsenal wouldn't be signing a striker and then they signed Welbeck. "Sorry Paul we think you are completely shit. We won't sack you though as we are incompetent, we will just stop you signing anyone else in this window." Actually that sounds pretty feasible.
