Risso
2 points and we stay up. Doesn't mean anything though. Trouble is Stefan, where are those two points going to come from? The team is utterly bereft of ideas and confidence, and the man paid to motivate them clearly isn't up to the job.
Cliffy Biro
Dull, boring, out of ideas, passionless? They often say a team reflects their manager... This is exactly how mcleish's tenure ended, everyone knew it just couldnt go on and im sure now faulkner and lerner are starting to see it too. penguin
Unless Lerner changes, we'll still be in the same boat. A lack of investment when rebuilding an entire squad really shows, especially with injuries. Agreed we aren't going to be pulling up trees with our financial situation but Lambert just doesn't have the ability to make the most of what we have.
Tayls
Really needs to sort it out. Looks like he's losing it. Doubled by Fulham, Palace, Stoke this season. Get the **** out.Someone get the banner made for the next game please.Ridiculous. Not what we need at all right now.It really is what we need right now. The fans can only do so much to motivate the players and create an atmosphere. If they are not being motivated by the manager and the manager doesn't have a clue in general, what hope do we have? We might as well show that we think lambert needs to go and hope it happens ASAP. Yes because holding up banners is really going to motivate the players more. Fans have a right to voice their discontent after a game and many of the criticisms against Lambert are valid but during the game we need to be united behind the team. Let's not make Villa Park more negative than it already is. We have been right behind the team for the whole season thus far. We have just lost our fourth game in a row for the second time this season. To add to that we have lost to Fulham, Stoke and Crystal palace within that last 4, all of which completed the double over us this season. We might as well show our discontent right now, because let's face it, the way we are playing us staying up will probably depend on other teams doing us a favour. Really not happy with how things are going at the moment and another change is needed, Unfortunately. Edited April 12, 2014 by Tayls

deeps
I'd get rid now tbh. It's not going to get better under him. We will stay up. Just but it's beyond a joke now.

Ulver
That 90 minutes summed up the Lambert era quite perfectly. Absolute dogshit.
smetrov
He had nearly a full strength squad to pick from today so can't really use injuries as an excuse, unless we are a one man team. He failed to change anything even though Palace were totally dominant and brought on Andi and Marc with only 8 minutes to go. I'm afraid I've lost faith in him. Not defending him - but the squad is ravaged with Injuries ?

pacbuddies
Lambertites? Really? So if you don't want him sacked you're put in some stupid category? Seriously done here now, pathetic. Don't let It bother you chap, it only indicates they have a weak argument to make. When we beat Palace next Saturday these people will be quietened. Up the Villa. Well that went well didn't it Mr Gentleman! Happy you are delighted with us losing. Well done. Not happy with us losing but happy that someone like you has been put in his place after your pathetic comments about weak arguments! Gloating after a lost....you are the pathetic one chap. Oh, thanks for calling me a word removed in a private message. Really shows your standing in society. You are an appeaser and that is it.
nobler
There's no feasible reason that Palace should be a better team than us, even with our financial restrictions. They are a better, more organised unit and a very hard team to break down with arguably less talented players. Pulis did this in a matter of weeks on the training ground, not 48 years like some people like to think it takes. It's got to such a low point that people just believe that Lambert is doing the absolute best possible job under the restrictions, it just baffles me.

mikeyp102
Can he be defended anymore? Five defenders against the lowest scoring team in the league. No subs til we are in a losing position, dropping our only player capable of creating anything (albrighton), getting no supply to the strikers. The man is a joke. It'll be too close for comfort to stay up. Get out of our club. What is his excuse going to be? He could easily have played 433 which would've given us more shape. These are his mistakes that are ruining us.

Rob182
Good luck defending that for the handful that still back him. There will always be one or two that will still defend him because not to would be admitting they were wrong and they haven't got the guts to admit that! There will always be one or two that are happy with us losing because they pathetically cling onto proving somebody on the internet wrong.
