The cheek of it! Anyway, it's now time to end another relationship. This time it's the 4 years I've spent with my Porsche 911 C4S. To see the old girl off, the boys and I took a road trip out far into the desert and up to the mountain road of Jebel Hafeet here in the UAE, about a couple of hours out from Dubai. It was an amazing hill climb, of which this photo does not do the gradient any justice at all (and obviously not my own handy work). The cars taken were a Ferrari 430, Aston Martin Virage Volante, Ferrari 458, Porsche 911 C4S and an Audi RS5. The space in the garage will be filled by something newer and shinier....but as yet undecided. Also, completely in the spur of the moment, I've become a hillbilly and bought myself a truck! A Roush Ford F150 and it's fookin' huge!! Loving it so far though and far more plush than I expected. Changing the grille on the front in the next few days, along with adding a fibreglass tonneau cover. Thinking about a claret and blue stripe over the top in preference to the graphics that it left the dealership with. And a nice big dent in the side panel as of Sunday when my nephew jumped out of his dad's car and smashed his door into the side of my car. Have you not had the astronomical rise of incredibly cheap hand carwashes in Ireland? They're everywhere over here now. I get my car washed nearly every week for about £3 So somebody else cleans my wheels With the baby on the way I need to upgrade my car from the Mini Cooper which is just too small. Thinking of an Audi A3. Need to find myself a good monthly deal! I got an A3 on PCP last year, so if you want any advice ask away.
