Average team that seem to raise their game against us!

Said in some other thread somewhere there is some weird thing going on where if you say us, Brighton and Newcastle are the best of the "other" teams, Newcastle beat us, we beat Brighton, Brighton beat Newcastle

Not sure if it's a playing style or what and it's obviously not every game but it's an interesting little thing

Where's the team photo after today's game?

Only do team photo if we win.

You maybe disagree with it or see it as cringey or small time but that was Howe way to instill togetherness when he first came to a broken team that fighting relegation.

Annoys me how easily Luton targeted Burn. And yet when we played them we tried to play long balls over him instead of trying to exploit his slowness.

Another sign of the craziness of the PL that Luton can nearly get the double over Newcastle, but Newcastle get the double over us with an average score that looks more like it belongs on a rugby pitch.

how long is Isak out for?

One or two games is what Howe said late last week. Only a slight groin problem, so perhaps only next weekend?

I see that Howe finally admitted that the number and severity of injuries they've had is self-inflicted:

Of course when you have the number of injuries we have had some of those have come from too much load or maybe our programmes are not good enough in the gym

PIF now looking to buy out Roma. I wonder if they will be allowed to play in same competition, or release some of the ownership like we had to with Vitoria

The also looked at Inter and AC Milan last year and were supposed to be buying them……here’s a tip, take what come out of the Italian media with a huge pinch of sat.

Gordon played at the weekend so hopefully Kamara and Kons recover as quick as he does!

Was a quality couple of goals from Bruno Guimaraes to win them a tricky away game. He holds them together like glue so was surprised when it was mentioned on here a few weeks back that some of the fanbase were criticising him, I've always thought he's a massive fan favourite there with his name regularly chanted at matches.

On 9 yellows so that will be another blow for Newcastle when he gets booked soon and his buyout got leaked out so they'll be big interest in him in the summer if they don't make europe, he said as much in interview he did.

Made the World cup squad so Ollie's got a good chance of being involved in the euros if he can have a strong finish to the season.

Did we take 2 or 3 to the WC? If it's 2 he's got no chance (as long as Kane and Toney are both fit). He'll go if it's 3.

At World cup it was Kane-Wilson-Rashford.

Is Toney a lock as took ages for him even to break into the squad and now lost time with the suspension.
