Davkaus
And if we win tomorrow (as we absolutely should, QPR are shite at their best, and they have several players out), we'll be 8th. Not too shabby, I'd have taken that at this time of the season when the fixture list came out.
The Fun Factory
Don't really agree with the Newcastle bashing. Sure they have had good comedy value but they get crowds we can only dream off and they have not won a trophy for 45 years.Always travel in numbers and anyone who has had Ashley and JFK as there directors deserve some sympathy for me. Brumerican
And yet a win tomorrow could put us in 8th ... Plus it is only October.
RunRickyRun
They go above us if they hold on. What was the points gap just a few weeks ago? So will Everton, 2 point off the drop is what we are looking at come 3.15pm Bedwetting forum is here On topic - Good win for Newcastle

hogso
Contrary to popular belief, we would in actual fact be 9th if we beat QPR

coda
Might be a bit awkward if Pardew ends their 50 years of hurt.
BleedClaretAndBlue
Well they have come out the other side of their crisis, 3 straight wins including away to spuds and citeh (with a much inferior side - take note Lambert; you dont have to drum it in to players you have no chance). Looks like we will take up the position of crisis club in the league now.
Zatman
always rated Pardew as a manager and knew he would turn it around up there. all looking positive for them now

heid3ster
Well, the fact that they have been able to arrest their slide at least makes me hopeful that we'll be able to do the same.
Genie
Shows how fickle football is. Newcastle have been utter tripe for over a year but now after 3 good games he's suddenly a top class manager. If he didn't already have a bout 55 years left on his current deal he'd be penning a new contract about now.

Offering a manager a new deal after a few good games is crazy.

Villan4Life
What a bargain at £1.3million that Ayoze Perez cost!! Amazing goal against the Baggies and now has 3 in 3. Sad, that we never seem to find bargain potentially good youngsters abroad like him and Sakho (West Ham) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=If5o7PM9BTQ

Dodgyknees
7m is a lot more than 1.3m. They got Perez for what we paid for Luna. Edited November 11, 2014 by DK82
