Popular Post delboy54
I was taking my 3 grand kids to a local park near me yesterday and a car was right up behind me...too close really.....obviously reading my AVFC sticker in the back window! He then turned off, sounding his horn and gave us the finger, I noticed he had Leeds stickers all over his rear window.... This is typical behaviour of Leeds fans to be honest, immature, self entitled bullies.... So glad we beat them VTID Derek
BleedClaretAndBlue
Come on Deano, get the job done today. The meltdown from their fans will be of epic proportions if they lose this one Edited March 13, 2022 by BleedClaretAndBlue
Demitri_C
Massive game for deano today. If he has absolutely any aspirations of staying up needs to avoid defeat today
ferguson1
Norwich will need to win today to have any chance of staying up. Leeds on the other hand simply need to win this, otherwise I feel the fans may turn on the team and especially the new coach. Not beating the bottom team may just drain any remaining confidence. The bottom three teams are so bad that anything above 30-32 points probably keeps you up this year. Leeds may only need 10 more points. Will be one to keep an eye on today. They only need another 6-7 points really so think they've got enough with what's left to get them over the line. Got Brighton at home soon who are basically on the beach now so that's another winnable game for them.
useless
They're still in trouble after they've played Wolves on Friday Everton and Burnley will have three games in hand, Watford who are now only four points behind them will have one game in hand, so that Wolves game is probably a must win for them, also have to factor in that there's actually still a lot of the season left to play, some clubs still have a quarter or more of their fixtures left, so things can change very quickly either way and total number of points needed to stay up can also change. They've taken just four points from their last nine games, and three of those were from Norwich, so no guarantee that they're going to start getting results just because they've won today, today's result puts them in a better position relative to Burnley, but Burnley themselves have still got Norwich to play which if they can win will even things out.
The_Steve
VAR bailed them out today. Still think it's going to be close.

The_Steve
Leeds won’t have an easier game than that. It really depends on how others play. They aren’t safe by a long way, their goal difference will bite them.

useless
Burnley and Watford don't play again until April 2nd and they play Man City and Liverpool, in the mean time Leeds have games away to Wolves and at home to Southampton, so there's potential there for Leeds to widen the gap between themselves and the bottom three, Watford and Burnley will have games in hand but if Leeds get just one win or even a couple of draws from the next two it would be a lot of points for the teams below them to make up, and Burnley have only won three games all season. The flip side to that is if Leeds fail to get any points from the next two then Watford will be just four points behind them with a game in hand, and Burnley five points behind them with three games in hand, and that's presuming that Watford and Burnley lose their games against Liverpool and Man City, if one of them could get a surprise result in those games, especially say Burnley at home to Man City then they would be just two points behind Leeds with three games in hand. gurru991 Posted March 18, 2022 Visiting Supporter Share Posted March 18, 2022 Yes Burnley have games in hand but the problem is that they have to win them & they have only won 3 all season. The Dyche game plan is to get a scoreless tie.
