Anyhoo, back to Stan... the effect of having this man in the dressing room must be immense. To see his pride in pulling on a Villa shirt surely must have an influence on the likes of Ayew, Adama and Amavi. Be interesting to see if he gets much game time in pre season. Have to think he's got a decent chance of getting a contract if he's already featuring in pre season games after a few weeks of training. I'll admit I was sceptical of him playing again but the more I think about it the more it would just give a huge buzz and lift around the place. Premier League footballer has life threatening illness, four years of heartache and recovery, then makes first team return. Simply incredible from the man.
