I don’t see why not!

If you were using a drone and accidently wandered it over the fence into your neighbours back garden and saw them and got video evidence of them murdering someone/burying a body, would that not stand up in court because the evidence was gained because of trespassing?

I'm not sure that's the same. That would just be accidently seeing something.

If I broke into a house and took evidence, I doubt that would be allowed in court.

Might be wrong though.

Premier league have to follow this up for reasons which maybe become more clearer if the regulators come in. I doubt though they will expell City from the league, the PL know they couldn't afford to lose their income.

Would the Premier League lose any income? Any plastic fans would just hop over to a new bandwagon anyway, they're not going to follow Man City into the lower leagues. The number of people watching will still be the same.

It's a strange forum that, I've looked on there a few times and feel 95% of them have no real knowledge of their club and just follow them cause they win stuff.

Guy on Talksport earlier saying its FFP's fault and we wouldn't be in trouble if it wasn't for the rules. What a dumb *****!

Some people really are thick

He’s making the same argument our fans do, that FFP is only there to stop teams like Man City (and Newcastle and ours) from being able to compete with Man U, Arsenal Liverpool and Chelsea.

Jordan is also right though of course. Just because we don’t agree with FFP doesn’t mean you can just ignore it.

Agreed he's making the same arguments as lots of fans do. But he's completely misunderstood the reasoning for why Man City are being charged.

This isn't a criminal case I suppose, but evidence of a crime gathered during another crime still counts as evidence. I was reading about a guy recently who burgled another guy's house and discovered child porn in his safe; the burglar alerted the police, and then they were both arrested and served time.

They might well start to follow Barca instead, or Bayern, or the New York Yankees, or Chennai Super Kings, or the Milwaukee Bucks, or The Last of Us, or Gran Turismo 7.

The Premier league hates the idea that there are people with a dollar and a couple of hours that aren't spending it with the Premier League.

Plastc fans are plastic enough to give up on a sport that they're not winning in any more.

Not to surprised to read that Premier League clubs want City kicked out of the league if found guilty, I imagine a lot of clubs are as tired of the lack of severe punishment as fans are at this point.

Well, they’d all also like to finish one place higher in the league 😂

I think he is making a different argument.

We argue that FFP is there to stop clubs like Villa, Brighton or Everton breaking the 'big 6'.

The man city fan is saying he says it doesn't matter that they break the rules, because the rules are there to stop them competing.

It's like some drivers going at 70mph and moaning about it, but some lambo/ferrari drivers trying to get away from punishment by driving at 150mph.

I hope they don’t do respective punishment. Taking titles off them now will mean nothing and let’s be honest, no respecting fan will want their team to be gifted an old title (Liverpool obviously will). They should get sanctions moving forward now though.
