villaglint
When he did that challenge against Long I hated him because it showed him to be the thug he is but when he nearly sliced Sterling in half yesterday I was cheering him on and loving him for it. And they call us fickle...
Rob182
I watched the game again Today. I really enjoyed him slicing Sterling in two, almost as much as I did when it was live. Then tiny Coutinho trying to square up to Gabby
villaglint
If ever people wonder about Keanes influence you only have to look at that tackle two mins after Sterling came on and Senderos kicking Balotelli throughout the game
Panto_Villan
I'm not sure Hutton ever needed any encouragement to destroy people with his tackles!

Rob182
Good news! I was worreid that he was going to leave at the end of the season, because of his poor treatment, and we'd be hopping back on the full-back-merry-go-round again!
Popular Post Uncle Albert
Gotta be the biggest u turn a villa player has ever done. Good on him
ArteSuave
Good for him. His conduct during his time out of the team was exemplary and his form since his return has matched it.
adw95
I've always thought he was shit, but he's been outstanding so far. Was genuinely beginning to worry we'd be balls deep in shit if he left so this is good news (if true)!
ender4
holy sh*t so from being put in the bomb squad by villa, totally derided by fans, shipped around on loan to whoever would take him... then comes back into the team, plays well in 4 games, given a 3-year contract, and loved by the fans. WTF!
DCJonah
Wow very surprised by that. God the bomb squad idea was idiotic.
AndyM3000
What on earth, he's had 4 games this season that is very rash to be giving him a new contract. He was also apparently on too much money? I highly doubt he has signed a deal for less money than he was on before. Very confusing.
Rob182
I'm glad to say that I was one of the fans who never thought he was as bad as was often made out. In Lambert's defence, there definately seems to have been some U-Turn in the players on higher wages being allowed to play for us again!

Or maybe lower wages after this 1 final year on his current wage. How old is he? 29? Considering the contract will run until he's 32, I can see how a player would accept that. It is called protecting your investment, much better than letting him leave on a free in the summer and have to spend a few more million on ANOTHER fullback. I reckon he has taken a pay cut too. We are doing some **** fantastic busieness right now.
PieFacE Posted September 16, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted September 16, 2014 Wow, did not see this coming Good for him though, has been given a rough ride in a sense but has been paid well for it, but it's nice to see him giving 100% still as a lot of other players wouldn't have.
