DJing - There's not a single feeling in the world like it when you get a room full of people dancing. Nothing comes close.

Not even sex with a hot psycho-babe?

I think it’s a very old agreement from years ago I think. It stems from Friday being a half-day and an agreement being reached whereby the staff got a full day off instead of the half day in lieu of a pay rise.

It's the same at our place. And you're right it comes from Friday being a half day. Felt like you were only getting a few hours off compared to everyone else so it got moved to Monday/Tuesday

Ours is further complicated by the Tuesday being deferred to Christmas

The hot psycho-babe always falls for the DJ mate, they go hand in hand. Any girl I've ever met while DJing has been an absolute nutter.

Haha, I've heard 'em all bud, it's cool :D I've done the hard yards - I'll take the banter. I remember once playing a funk and soul set, I'd been playing the same kind of stuff for 4 hours, at a funk and soul night, and a geezer kicked off at me because I wouldn't play Darude - Sandstorm. Absolute sausage.

Quite happy to say I have no idea what that is.

It’s one of those tracks you will have probably heard somewhere without recognising the name.

VT in hating incredibly popular song shocker

In all fairness it is absolutely ubiquitous but it doesn't really fully into the taste of more prolific music posters. I wouldn't bet my house that Mike and Rob have heard it but I suggest they have and it just didn't register.

15 seconds in for the hook.

Yeah that's what I was getting at.

If you've heard of it, VT's music posters will hate it ;)

Not happy with a SilentNight mattress we purchased under three years ago, so thought I'd try and get it replaced under their 5 year guarantee.

To my surprise the replacement is being delivered next week, result.
