My oldest son aged 30 just got a promotion to the Jaguar design section at Whitley, with a hefty pay rise. But what cheers me up is putting my feet up, in front of the telly to just enjoy an evening of scheduled television. Which is what I’m going to do later. I’ve bought the latest copy of the RadioTimes, consulted the listings and have marked off what I plan to watch.
