Michael118
Scored and was Man of the Match yesterday for Newcastle in their 3-0 win over West Ham. Those saying 'he found his level' last season or 'he'll be found out when he's back in the Premier League' should reevaluate. Sadly another player in a long list who could never reach his potential with us. Quote Ciaran Clark 9 - Man of the Match. Two crucial contributions with an off the line clearance before the key second goal during an excellent all round display. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-3-0-west-ham-13534581 Edited August 27, 2017 by Michael118
Zatman
West Ham are one of the worst teams you will watch this season and Samba look decent against them
Michael118
Another solid performance from Ciaran Clark in Newcastle's 0-1 victory over Swansea. Quote 8 - The Ireland defender weighed in with seven clearances. Florian Lejeune may have to wait for his chance, surely a good sign. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/swansea-0-1-newcastle-player-13600187
Czechlad
Maybe he was actually a decent defender, but playing alongside the likes of Hutton, Okore, Bennett, Luna, Cissokho, Lescott, and Richards made him seem worse??

Hornso
I'm happy Ciaran is doing well, I just wish it wasn't playing for the Barcodes.

villa4europe
He's another player who I'll get no joy out of seeing play well elsewhere because make no doubt about it he had some stinkers for us, sheriffs badge head and constant head down aimless 40 yard balls to no one, I truely believe that he could put the ball out for a throw from any scenario anywhere on the pitch, him doing well now just makes me think he was robbing a living here

Michael118
Ciaran Clark solid again in Newcastle's 2-1 win over Stoke. Quote 8 - Battled hard and belted away nine clearances to leave uncompromising Stoke with few chances. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-2-1-stoke-player-13630895 Edited September 16, 2017 by Michael118

This is also the local Newcastle rag, after 3 wins on the spin and a place in the top 4 do you really think many players will get a low grade. 5 players got 8, 1 got a 9 and a number of 7's also. In a 2-1 win... against Stoke at home. Make of that what you will. He is very prone to error and always will be! Also, noticed you weren't in the Bacuna or Westwood threads today! Ok, well The Daily Mail rated him a 7 which was equal highest on the pitch after Lascelles who was the match winner and rated 7.5. On their forums there's been 3 replies so far in their equivalent of our 'Ratings & Reactions' thread and he's rated 7.5, 8 & 8. All said he was 'solid'. Quote Clark - 7.5 Solid, didn't need to get booked. Clark - 8 Solid as usual. Clark - 8 Consistent. Solid. https://www.toonforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9030&sid=55ba2b5abc08d8a925c01609cfa0754 Edited September 17, 2017 by Michael118
