Drawing a foul is dribbling.

Through balls and long balls are generally synonymous.

A difference of 0.1 on blocks in interceptions could actually be incredibly marginal due to rounding.

And having more shots per game than Prowse but with 5 fewer goals makes mcginn substantially worse at shooting.

Just basing off your stats pics. Dribbling stat is not same as fouled stat which says McGinn 3 more times than JWP 2.1 to 0.7

JWP the free kick specialist of the PL had 5 goals from free kicks and 2 from penalties of 8 total so disingenuous comparing shots on goal.

Loved your work on Norwich forum btw

It's hilarious how much in denial other teams' fans are about Jack. Yesterday's Guardian had a big Euros pullout, with a long piece about England's exciting young midfielders by... Karen (bluenose) Carney. She managed to write the whole thing without a single mention of Jack. Not one. Naturally, it was all Bellingham, Bellingham, Bellingham, plus Foden and Mount. It's like Jack doesn't exist. Pathetic jealousy.

Being fouled is part of dribbling. But successful dribbles are separate to a being fouled. Really you have to co bine them to see how many times a player kept the ball when dribbling compared to how many times they lost it

Is it right that Grealish has mentioned Buendia before as a player he rates or wants to play with?

He was talking about growing up in Birmingham and said "born there" in Brummie accent and it sounded like Buendia

So McGinn better at dribbling 1.4 to 0.4 and fouled more often 2.1 to 0.7

Cool

Yeah I said he's better at dribbling in my initial post.

You said JWP literally better at everything bar dribbling, long balls, fouling (they are the same 1.2) and left out interceptions, blocks, drawing fouls and through balls

I view through balls the same as long balls as they typically require the same skills.

Drawing fouls and successful dribbles are the same to me. Your team retained possession and got a better position. So it's 3.5 to 1.1 or something like that to me so a lot better at dribbling.

And Blocking, Interceptions are only a 0.1 difference which could mean over the course of the season mcginn only had 1 more block (or they had the same, ward Prowse played one more game) and one more interception. Of course it could also be like 6 or 7. But Prowse's advantage in terms of tackling and clearances suggest he is a slightly better defender overall. I'd also say we have substantially less possession time which gives mcginn more of a chance to rack up defensive stats such as blocks and interceptions.

By the same token Prowse has the advantage in offensive possession time but is less aggressive with the ball and tries to keep possession a lot more which I prefer to mcginns directionless hoofs some of the time.

For me, it makes the narrative that much sweeter. I am convinced Jack will shine and even carry England this coming tournament.

Haven’t read the piece but if it was about the YOUNG midfielders that makes sense. Those you mention are all 5-8 years younger than him.

It’s going to be good when Jack wins us the Euros and Emi Martinez saves the winning penalty in the Copa America final…

Who thinks Jack will start tonight or come off the bench? I think he might start again to build up fitness. From all the training pics this week seems his stress injury is OK.

If Southgate wants him as a starter next week he has to start tonight no? (even if it means taking him off after 60/70).

You'd want to be playing your first 11 for Croatia tonight i would of thought.

Wouldn't be surprised to see that line-up work a lot better without Kane dropping back 50 yards leaving no one up front.

Seems pretty obvious? It’s the same formation we play.
