Enjoyed S1 of the Boys and have just never gotten around S2, just as good?

Better IMO. Don’t want to spoil too much more than that for you but it really gets dialled up to 11.

Fun fact, my girlfriend works for the VFX company that did the lightning powers for a big character in S2. I’ve been lucky enough to get a little bit of gossip about S3 and see a few frames and it’s really looking great…look out for what strikes me as their warped take on Scarlett Witch (hard to tell as I’ve only seen like a second or two of footage, just going of costume) if you like a bit of over the top gore

Strike Back box set available on sky, starting a rewatch of seasons 1-5 👌

Really enjoyable series till then, never finished this as it went badly downhill post Stone ridge and Scott.

Just done exactly the same, forgot how good it was especially early doors

Strong first episode of Arcane on Netflix.

The reaction to the show has been phenomenal so hopefully it'll live up to the hype.

It’s very good. I don’t expect to watch many shows better than that in 2022.

Blasted through 5 episodes of the Dexter reboot.

Still great stuff, although up to the halfway point the son is a bit of a clearing in the woods that needs a slap.

Steven Toast and Ray Purchase dubbing a Danish gay porn film is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in years.

“The feeling here is that you could play it a little less gay” 🤣   **** hell.

I’m on the last episode of Season 2 of Succession.

Have to say I’m not really sure what all the hype is about. It’s a good show but it’s not amazing.

Fundamentally I find it very difficult to enjoy a show where I have no connection to the characters. And the fact that every character on Succession is a monumental word removed means I find it tough to give a shit about any of them.

Anyway. It’s fine. But people were talking like it was in the elite tier of shows. It’ll have to be a monumental third season to put it anywhere near that

It's not.

Also from about S3 it's the writers rehashing a similar premise. One kid has a go at taking out Logan and then he wins.

I've started on Toast of London  , up to season 1 episode 6 now

It has some great individual moments and whilst I'm enjoying it  I'm not exactly in love with it in the way I was for something like What we do in the shadows

be interesting to see how I feel after a few more episodes
