I’m still not sure what the “dust” element is unless it’s something to do with the crap inside which the “cat” collects.

Indeed it is.

Quote

Cats and Dust specialise in the recovery of precious metals (Platinum, Palladium and Rhodium). We purchase Catalytic Converters from cars and commercial vehicles, their catalyst content is then refined leaving behind the precious metals.

Hmmm. Is this advert aimed at those kind of people who suddenly find themselves in possession of a used catalytic converter one morning looking for a place to sell it?

That was my thought too. I was expecting to see something like “no registration needed” or “paid in cash”.

There are plenty of people who buy old cars for a song and salvage every single part they can to sell on ebay etc. One man band scrap merchants if you like.

A bloke I used to work with did it, the profit margin is high if the Labour costs are zero

But you just cant get rid of a Catalytic Convertor, you need a licence

Yeah I was wondering if that was why it was quite a vague advert...

There must be a black market because shit loads of them are stolen of JLR cars in the staff car parks in Coventry.

The fourth kid rescued from the lake in Solihull has died. What a brutal story. Just can't imagine

Can't bring myself to watch the news reports about these children dying, truly heartbreaking.

Have they revealed if these boys were related yet? By their ages i’d guess at least 2 were brothers. So deeply sad.

Someone I work with claims that his daughter is friends with the dad of the three kids that haven’t been named, and that obviously they’re all siblings.

Could be complete bullshit but it would be a weird thing to lie about

One witness said that one of the boys got his leg caught in the ice the other three ran over to help but then they all went in.

Sounds like there was a big crack and the extra weight caused them all to fall in. So sad as we all would have done the same thing . What a tragedy

Happy birthday Stevo

Happy birthday Genie

I haven’t bought either you anything, but I’ll be at Villa Park this evening and if you think you see me, come over and say hello and I’ll buy you a beer.

If there’s any hesitation, think of Paddywhack’s recent success with his meeting with Ingram for inspiration.

Thanks mate, now I’m sad that I didn’t realise there was a home game tonight and instead i’ve just agreed to go out for dinner with the family (initial plan was do do something another day as my lad had football training, but it has been cancelled due to the weather).

Do I rock the boat because it’s my birthday in lieu of freezing my knackers off at Villa Park? 🤔
