Unless it's chicken soup, in which case you'd be dipping a well buttered white bread cheese sandwich in the soup for best results.
Mandy Lifeboats
I haven't lived in Brum for over 15 years. Does anyone have any suggestions for parking at the Barclaycard Arena/NIA on a Tuesday evening? Does it get gridlocked around the arena at closing? I'll be heading South out of the city afterwards. We'd just moved into our first house, and - as it transpired - Perkins was staying just up the road, while filming a Yorkshire TV miniseries called The Glory Boys. Slightly surreal experience. How long does it take to walk from there to the NIA?
villa4europe
5-10 minutes, cross broad street walk round through brindley place, plenty of choices for food / drink there too
Paddywhack
If it's a Tuesday night and it's not a really big event at the arena then I'd just park at the Brindley Place car park. I parked there a few Friday nights back though when Micky Flanagan was there and we had to queue for 30 minutes just to pay for the parking. A walk up to five ways probably isn't a bad shout. There's the Broadway Plaza car park too, under the Odeon.
