Has anyone heard about this new thing councils are trialling. Fining parents who drop their kids close to their schools? As they want to reduce the amount of pollution?

apparently it's only if you've got loads of kids, because then that counts as a litter

My wife inadvertently put her phone in the washing machine. Two hours @ 40°.

Still works perfectly.

Ring it dry, did she?

My cat brought a frog in to the house last night. I opened the back doors and as I'd been up Snowdon over the weekend, my walking pole was by the side, so I tried to use that to guide it towards the garden.

Instead, I accidentally skewered it.

Just pick 'em up, they don't bite!

We used to have a cat that brought live frogs in pretty much daily. Carrying them back out to the pond became a regular routine.

I know, I should. I'm a wimp though.

He'd never brought a bird in until this week but he's gifted us with 2 in the last few days. I'm dreading him bringing a live one in.
