I'm warming to Zanilolo more and more. He has something of the Cantona about him, a real "Maverick," really hope we keep him. I think he could be even better next season. 

Duran was good when he came on, certainly isn't afraid to put it about, which is something we need at times.

A good solid performance, aside from the first 20 minutes, we looked quite comfortable. Looking forward to Wednesday, hopefully we can give them something to think about.

Moreno was good defensively, don't see the problem with him. Rogers did more than we have seen so far, he is looking promising. Duran's energy was great. Just so pleased with the squad in this one.

Comfortable win without really ever getting going 

thought Youri was man of the match today , kept ticking over and did the role that he’s sometimes struggled to do 

subs made an impact which was good , 2 impact games in a row from Zaniolo

Nice to beat a bogey side - this was a game where we weren't great to start with but gradually took control. Wasn't pretty at times but 3 points is all that matters at this stage of the season

Just finished watching after having to pause it at the start to deal with some family issues. Thought we delivered a professional performance without being amazing. Duran, Diaby and Zaniolo were excellent I thought, and a big shout out to Martinez for keeping us in it with that point blank save first half. Great result, keeps the momentum now for our run in.

I gave Martinez MOM just for that save. He keeps us in games, and does so in so many games.

Better team, they never really looked like scoring tbh. A bit better interplay and we could have won that by 5 or 6.

A special word for Zaniolo, he always puts a shift in. There is a reaaly good player in there, he probably tries to hard to please. I hope we keep him

This commentary woman (after the match) saying things like "Manchester United have the opportunity to put pressure on Villa and Spurs with a visit to Brentford....next!"  and "Manchester United as they make a charge for Europe"

A solid enough display from pretty much every player. Odd sky repeatedly blamed the only wolves shot as a miss and not a save.

Bizarre in fact, not at any stage in the entire game was it called a save, only a miss.

Watkins off is hopefully precaution or protection rather than an injury.

Duran looked decent and caused them some issues but some poor decision making or execution, zaniolo was good when he came on and could have grabbed a couple goals but for their keeper, was disciplined in attack and defence.

Digne brought some stability to the left side and played well.

Great goal by diaby and a fluke by konsa but from a good passage of play from winning the ball back the drive forwards the pass to diaby and then onto konsa.

Very happy with the win , we just need to keep picking up the points.

Really good win. Diaby MOM; he is improving.

Rogers played well, I think we have a good one there. Zaniolo also showing that he may be worth keeping.

The rest of the players all played well. Great team effort. We struggled for the first half hour, but after we scored we looked in complete control.

Considering the first 30 minutes, that was a very comfortable game in the end. Could and perhaps should have been 3 or 4. Moreno was really poor though, so hopefully we see Digne start on Wednesday.

Good hustle from many of the players, Zaniolo showed good energy coming on. Great to see another goal and assist for Diaby too. And a cleansheet thanks to Emi.

Looked a lot better when digne and zaniolo came on, don’t get Moreno at all this season been off the boil in pretty much every game

Yes. Apparently it was because of that `miss' that they lost the game, totally ignoring the number of `misses' that we had. What is wrong with these people?

After the first 25 minutes it was a very professional performance by Villa. At this point in the season performances don’t really matter but points do.

After the second goal injury hit Wolves didn’t have much upfront to trouble Villa so it was fairly comfortable. 
 

Tills MOTM for me. Did everything a McGinn would have done and to me now looks much fitter.

Defo a player there in Rogers while both Diaby and Zaniolo are improving at the business end of the season which is another big plus.

Much harder games to come though.

Great result and decent performance, had we gone a goal down when wolves should have scored it might well have been a different outcome but once we got on top we largely stayed there.

Both goals pretty well worked, yes the second was somewhat fortunate but had Konsa not mis-hit it into the net it would have been a nod-in for Duran. 
 

Emery looked angry when he came back out for the second half, and Kellyman looked surprised when he saw Duran getting ready to come on, probably reading far too into it but hoping Watkins hasn’t had a bust up with Unai at half time.
