Going to have to seriously consider the vote for MOTM - could be almost anyone.  I've never seen a team performance like that; just all of them absolutely on it.  A serious 10/10 from everyone, in almost every way.  Unreal!

I don't even think Man City were necessarily that bad; we made them that bad.  They couldn't play through us (did a couple of times early on; we wised up) they couldn't pass around us.  Konsa and Digne were immense out wide.  It was literally perfect.

 

And, also, the ref had a great game.

Giants to a man.

Martinez - the few times we needed him, because we were so dominant, he was immense.

Konsa - Colossus. Fought and scrapped and ran the wing with aplomb, dominanted all comers. Immense.

Carlos - man mountain. Shrugged off everything, whacked the ball around with absolute confidence, dominant over everything. Immense.

Torres - swept up more than Hoover. Filthy passes, reset the play over and over, dominant. Immense.

Digne - owned the wing. Nobody could touch him. Dominant.. Immense.

Kamara - took the piss. So dominant he was able to become a central midfield attacking outlet. Battled everyone and dominated everyone. Immense.

Luiz - the cool head who was always available, nobody could touch him. Deserved a goal. Dominant. Immense.

McGinn - absolutely on it. They couldn't handle his terrier fight, they couldn't cope with the sharp turn and the quick feet, the midfield was his. Dominant. Immense.

Tielemans - just chucking out the casual cutting back heel, the incisive little flick, and getting in everyone's faces. Dominant. Immense.

Bailey - absolute filth. Hard hard work, they didn't know he was there, he was a step ahead all night. And he got the the goal he deserved. Dominant. Immense.

Watkins - back to the tussle and hard running, but he had them worried and that space let us dominant and be immense.

Moreno - came on to pick up whatever was left that Digne hadn't quite dominated, and dominated it, and was immense.

Ramsey - switched out Tielemans filth for Ramsey's sheer endeavour, and dominanted, and was immense.

Duran - sent on to be a menace in the final seconds and scares whatever was left of the Citeh team. He did so, dominating and immensely.
