Just wish we were 2 or 3 up as it would be a better reflection on how well we've played. This ref needs to sort his shit out. They are making some very naughty late fouls and he's letting them get away with it. They should have at least 3 players carded. That Burn is all over any Villa player that goes near him yet the ref is giving nothing. They will improve but that will mean we can hit them on the break and hopefully see this through. KMitch Posted April 15, 2023 Share Posted April 15, 2023 What a half!!! Absolutely dominated them all over the pitch. Tactical masterclass from Emery and Newcastle look completely lost. They love to press hard and swarm the ball carrier high up the pitch. No problem, we'll go over it! We've also successfully completely marked Guimaraes out of the game at times or have swarmed him when he gets the ball, which is why Newcastle don't look much of a threat when they have possession. Brilliant from Emery. Ollie has been immense up front and everything in our attack is flowing through him.
