But if its for the future and we are going to either loan or train him up for the first team then all good. Indigo Posted January 16, 2023 Share Posted January 16, 2023 Let's just see how he gets on, the jump in standard is such from one league to the other than there's no sure-fire way of knowing how he'll get on, but he's clearly rated by those that know more about him and was apparently sought after by better sides than Villa, so reasons to be encouraged all the same. He is strong, great in his hold up play, and likes to get others involved. I also texted a Chicago Fire friend of mine and he thinks we got a steal with this deal. Yes, at the face of it seems a lot for such a young player, but Benfica and other big teams were linked to him and we got him; shows he has something special if all those teams wanted him.
