It was exceptionally bad defending from Mitchell, who has given him time and about two yards of space to turn in, but at the end of the day he's still got to score it and under great pressure as well when it looked like the wind was going from our sails. Bad defending but a fine fine finish.

He beat him to the spot because he was Hughes' man and just jogs away from him. Mitchell sees him and tries to recover but he's not going to win it in the air vs Duran so tries to stand him up but doesn't react quickly enough to the shot.

Don't know if it's already been posted, but didn't he try a similar ridiculous shot against Man City(?) on his first (or very early on) appearance for us which hit the bar?

What a **** hit that was :D.  Goal against Everton, goal against Hibernian, comes on and scores here.  Got to be nice for the confidence.

Took his goal like prime Drogba. I’ve said it before but this kid has got so many good attributes to his game, strong, quick, strikes the ball well and is still only 19. If he is coached correctly this kid could be some player.

Yeah, it was an absolute rocket, was gutted for him it didn't go in. Delighted to see him do it twice though, and hoping for a few more!

Your regular reminder that Jhon Duran is a whole two years younger than Archer (who was playing on loan at Preston at Jhon’s age) and is 6 months younger than Louie Barry.

This kid is humble, doesn’t appear to shirk the hard work and is blessed to have the opportunity to work with Emery and to have other positive role models in the squad. I’m absolutely convinced he’s going to be Benteke level for us barring any serious injury.

Your regular reminder that this kid is 6 months younger than Louie Barry. He’s going to tear the Europa conference league a new arsehole.
