Coutinho has also been decent. It's hella dull though. We have no patterns of play going forward. West Ham are there for the taking but can we do it? I expect them to step it up 2nd half so we have ti be ready. West Ham have been pretty poor, can’t see them being as bad in the second half. Get Buendia on for Phil sooner rather than later. Why was our goal disallowed? Couldn’t tell from the Holte. VillaChris Posted August 28, 2022 Share Posted August 28, 2022 First 30 minutes there was a plan and miles the better team so good to see for first time this season in the league. Last 15 minutes it's reverted to just endless sideways passing around midfield area. Have to say even for a Moyes team West Ham have been incredible negative, barely offered anything despite having good attackers on the pitch and constantly having 8-9 behind ball. Moyes would sign up for a point right now so in true Villa fashion we'll probably find a way to lose this. Kamara has been really good on rare West Ham ventures over halfway line, snuffed out their attacks easily with good positioning so very annoying if we can't get the midfield structure right around him as the season goes on as there's a very good player in the making for this league.
