Fair play to Forest sticking with Cooper, they could have sacked him twice but stuck with him. Maybe he’s their Smith, mid table finish next season before sacking him and hiring Gerard 😂

Got to wonder what’s next for him, could go the way of Dele Alli

He is 30 and seems to care more for the lifestyle than the game. Will probably end up in MLS as some teams glamour signing

He's the original Dele Alli. 30 years old now but perpetually a promising youngster. Absolutely finished at PL level, wouldn't be surprised if he retires in his early 30s a la Gabby tbh

Lingard released. What a signing he was.

By "released", his 1 year contract ended.

Cost them about £4m - sort of gamble a promoted side can/should take, even if it didn't work out.

Yeah if he had performed like he did for west ham it would have been a masterstroke but that's looking like his last flash in the pan now.

Lingard is nowhere near as bad as Alli. Was playing regularly up until 2020 when he was 27, and had a brief renaissance at West Ham when he was 28. Alli was effectively finished by the time he was 24.

He should have went back there and forced the move when they wanted to make his loan move permanent.

Instead, he believed OGS crap and a year later found himself at Forest instead.

Lingard was excellent in that spell at WHU. Just not sure whats happened to him at Forest. Thought it would be perfect for him.

Gibbs-White is one that has really impressed me. Thought he was massively overpriced, but he's been worth it.

Moyes created a system that have him a ton of space to play in, we of course gave him the freedom of VP,  was never going to last, West ham never really going for him despite him being so successful there says it all

As a side I did see Tuanzebe is out of contract this summer too, not leaving utd ultimately finished them both

West Ham did go for him IIRC? The issue was that OGS told him he'd be part of United's first team plans, then (predictably) gave him about 100 minutes of football or something.
