TomC Posted May 15, 2022 Share Posted May 15, 2022 Two related problems here... 1. We keep giving the ball away cheaply. 2. We aren't getting the fullbacks forward, in part because we can't hold the ball, in part because they have players pinning them back. This means that Dougie and McGinn have to play very wide, which is leaving a gap in the middle, which means that Coutinho has to come back deep and get the ball, which means that everyone is spaced out too much and it's hard to link up.
