Match Thread: Villa v Crystal Palace

Palace going 3 at the back has rendered the ball over the top to watkins/ings pretty useless.

Rest of midfield so deep, Coutinho is having to drop so deep to help - this sort of play doesn't play to his strengths at all.

Shape needs a complete change to get through today.

McGinn can only play in an underdog side battling on the counter. Hence why week in, week out he looks dog shit and then plays well against Liverpool. Shame Gerrard and co. can't seem to figure that out and keep leaving our ball-playing players on the bench.

I honestly don't see what SG and his team have brought with them.  We still look like a bunch of individuals that have never played together.

Dreadful

if we are honest, thats been pretty much true for the last 3 years in the PL.

Maybe that just points to a fair few of our players, are just not as good as we think they are.

Jack starting to look like a bad omen for City.

Aside from that, West Ham are blatantly winning, because I dropped Bowen and Antonio from my FPL.

Both scoring and assisting of course.

FFS

I flipped a coin between Coutinho and Bowen.

i agree with this, McGinn is a low possession, on the break type player.

He cant be part of a possession team, no way.

Actually just double checked my team.

It's Antonio alone I took out.

Coutinho and Bowen are still in, however so is Ramsey lol.

Half my team have gotten injured.

Including Salah and Van Dijk.

Indeed. Gerrard's insistence on playing him whilst leaving Ramsey, Sanson, Chuk and Buendia scratching their arses on the bench is alarming.
