Doesn't mean we are doing anything wrong. We've managed to punch above our weight by signing Digne and Coutinho, Bailey, Buendia and arguably Ings in the summer were all linked with "bigger clubs" also. I know NSWE are trying to change that but it's going to take time, perhaps we are being too naive. Smith-Rowe was a ruse to get a new contract. Bentancur we were used to smoke out a bigger fish. Dean Smith mentioned that we were “probably 18 months away from giving Jack CL football”. I expect from the summer onwards we can go all guns blazing on our top target (s).
