Absolutely horrendous decision. I can’t even begin to explain how bad it is.

To be given the option to view it, from any angle, in any speed, however many times you want, and then still manage to make the wrong decision is just baffling.

Speechless. Fantastically bad officiating.

So has the rule changed recently? I seem to remember Billy Sharp kicking the ball out of our keepers hands in the 3-3 draw with Sheff Utd. Kalinic had two hands on the ball and they still allowed it.

You remember rightly

They make it all up to suit themselves, these clowns.

We didn’t deserve the lead at half time on the balance of play but that decision is total bullshit.

Cash is having a nightmare in defending Barnes, I’d almost be tempted to switch him and young for the second half.

Showing some flashes of good play again but far too easily cut open at the back.

He was in control for a second. JJ had every right to attack it. They've deliberately made it look like he's in more control than he is.

Well if that statement of the law from that tweet is correct, “control” just means having the ball between the hand and a surface. So it’s the right decision.

Disgraceful decision to disallow the goal.

When the keeper has the ball only in 1 hand, then the forward is within his right to challenge him for it.

We've seen many time the ball being nicked off the keeper when kicking from hands because he didn't have both hands on the ball.

Keeper did not have the ball under control, so goal should stand.

Corruption, incompetence, whatever your perspective, the goal should have stood.

We should be ahead despite a pretty apathetic performance so far.  These are there for the taking if we can get our game up like we did against city.

It doesn't have to be two hands just in control of the ball... buuuuut...

Freeze framing it with his one hand on the top of the ball tells a complete different picture to watching in real time. He was never in control and that was a goal all day long.

Game has gone.

And if we don't pull our finger out this one will be. We've been dreadful.

schmeical is an absolute little word removed. He was a prick with his little comments in the summer about England and the little clearing in the woods made the biggest meal ever out of that just then.

Don’t forget his bizarre and unlawful kneeling on traore after we scored against them last year. One of the biggest pricks in the game

By the laws, with a stillframe, it isn't a goal, the thing is, the ball is coming in with pace and he has it there for a fraction of a second - is that ball staying in his control even if Ramsey doesn't kick it? Who can say. He gets his hand on top of the ball. Has he actually stopped the ball? Doesn't look it to me

He's also at full stretch, so would likely have to release the ball to regather it with both hands.
