useless Posted January 4, 2023 Share Posted January 4, 2023 I didn't understand the criticism Gerrard was getting for not playing him, and the way it was being framed as if Gerrard had committed some sort of dismal crime in leaving him out. Was obvious from when Smith was here that's there's more going on with Sanson, and at the time people were accepting of that, was only later when Gerrard left him out that people changed their views retrospectively and started making excuses for Smith leaving him out, suddenly it was that he was injured, but at the time no one was buying that, as was obvious more going on. There was plenty to be critical of Gerrard but leaving out Sanson wasn't one of them Might not be a bad player, probably not, and probably not done anything wrong as wouldn't even be on the bench otherwise, maybe just had trouble settling in or something, hopefully he can get a move to somewhere that suits him better and do well. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
