We aren’t getting anything from this game and I’m far from impressed with Watkins so far, aside from the Liverpool game I’ve seen very little from him which is a real concern. Alot of it down to our total lack of impetus and creativity - oh and sloppy passing. We are playing teams now with managers who realize that regardless of Barkley, McGinn, Trez and Watkins being capable players, we're still intent on giving it to Jack every time we go forward. That means they can comfortably put three players on him to nullify his threat, and we do nothing with the space that this opens up. It's really Sunday league - give it to the skillful lad, the rest of you are here to make up the numbers and defend. We need to move past this shit as a club.
