What is this ridiculous defeatist mentality on here? They've scored two great goals. Shit happens. Ffs it's only the first half, and we're certainly still well in this game.

We got hammered at home by a newly promoted team last week and we are being smashed at home again. Sorry if being realistic doesn't work for you but facts are facts.

Terrible first half.

Individual errors from Targett, Mings and Luiz have cost us but not one of them is playing well. We aren’t getting anything from this game and I’m far from impressed with Watkins so far, aside from the Liverpool game I’ve seen very little from him which is a real concern.

It's not even about the goals, as much as the manner in which we are being dominated.

Alot of it down to our total lack of impetus and creativity - oh and sloppy passing.

We could legit be 3 - 0 down already,

You might as well start your smith out campaign again now. You're clearly itching to do it after he made you look a joke last year.

He made me look a joke how so? We stayed up by the skin of our teeth and a ghost goal to boot. Nothing to be celebrated.

The tactics are the same every **** time. Give it to Grealish. We are playing teams now with managers who realize that regardless of Barkley, McGinn, Trez and Watkins being capable players, we're still intent on giving it to Jack every time we go forward. That means they can comfortably put three players on him to nullify his threat, and we do nothing with the space that this opens up.

It's really Sunday league - give it to the skillful lad, the rest of you are here to make up the numbers and defend.

We need to move past this shit as a club.

Both goals were avoidable which is the frustrating thing.

Goal 1: Targett  goes to ground and gives away a needless foul and then we have Mginn marking Vestergaard from the free kick.

Goal 2: Stupid foul from Luiz in a really dangerous area.

They have played through the midfield a few times already, if they get by Luiz they are in the defence and there was zero pressure the other side, he had to try and do something there. Need someone else with Luiz, McGinn when we don't have the ball is the weak link in the midfield.
