I think it just gives you the nearest one to you with free appointments doesn't it? My mom has been trying to book one the past couple of days and it kept sending her to Sandwell. She tried again today and got one at the airport very near her house) but it had never come up before. Although she said there was NOBODY there. So **** knows.

chrisp65
Can’t the people without cars that don’t know if they are contagious just use public transport to travel from city to city to find out if they should be isolating?

The issue is when you travel to Cyprus you need a negative covid test 72hrs before. So the earliest i can have one is friday. A home test wont qualify for cyprus unfortunately. It ha stk be a drive theiygh service. Looked at private clinic and they are charging £110 for a test. Unbelievable

Genie
Just under 3000 cases in last 24 hours, the impact of schools and universities still to be seen. It’s going to be a rough winter.

Genie
... and we’re running out of capacity to test people. Its like the reverse argument to Trump’s “the numbers are high because we’re testing so many people”. Ours is probably lower than reality because testing is too difficult to get done for many people due to capacity constraints.

If cases keep going up then it’s inevitable that deaths will sharply rise too though.
