I like him and it would have been nice for him to be a success here on the field, but if he's not, he's still a success in terms of how we want to do things as a club. Hard to see him going on anything other than a free, which is quite a shame because there is a good player in there and a fresh start under Gerrard could have worked out at the end of his loan. Edit: He isn't, he's here until June '23, might be able to turn this around if Gerrard sees something in him over the summer. Be staggered if we made a profit on this guy. Never been that impressed with him myself. If he is so good makes you wonder why another prem club hasn't come in.
