fightoffyour Posted December 3, 2020 VT Supporter Share Posted December 3, 2020 Day 3: bit disappointed to get a lager out but I guess that’s what you get with a box from one brewery. Going to check out independent uk beer shops for next year if I can get them delivered. the mango DIPA from Brewski is going down well.

Rodders
after a first aid day which seemed to illustrate the many ways we can so easily die, I'minterrupting my booze free spell for a nice belgian beer. Duvel this evening
HanoiVillan
Had one of these tonight: Quite simply, it was one of the nicest beers I've ever had, and maybe even the very best. The two flavours complement each other perfectly, and it was sour enough to notice but not sour enough to be unpleasant. A great find! Only problem is that it was £6.50 for one.
fightoffyour Posted December 5, 2020 VT Supporter Share Posted December 5, 2020 See, we did drink more than the advent beers: Day 6: A 9.7% barley wine and the To Øl is an even stronger 10.3% TIPA! Looking forward to that, soon I guess. Just need to go for a run first, the hair of the dog...
mottaloo
I realise that this might sound a bit ghey but does anyone recommend a chocolate orange liquer..? In my defence, I'm buying for the missus (honestly). Much obliged...
