Tell you what, if you lose Saturday then have the decency to come back on here after. That is some of the most arrogant stuff I’ve ever read from a football fan, never had a problem with Fulham before this week but that’s rapidly changing!

Got to love Jokanovic. We didn't need any extra motivation but he has given us a bit to have in reserve.

As for his comments about us being old and tired. Of the players on the wrong side of 30 John Terry hasn't had to get out of second gear this season such is the superiority he has over the players in this league. he has also never had any pace but that hasn't stopped him being the best defender in this country over the last 20 years. Alan Hutton is 34 yet he is fitter and quicker than most 24 year old players. Jedi will sit in front of the back 4 and not move more than 30 yards in any direction and has the youthful legs of Grealish and Hourinhane around him.

I think if this was our 3rd game in a week then maybe tiredness would be an issue. It isn't we have had 11 days off. Adrenalin is also a great tiredness antidote.

I don't know what Fulham think they are up against on Saturday but I do. I fully expect to see the Villa that didn't allow Wolves any time or space, got in amongst them for 90 minutes and totally knocked them out of their stride and never allowed them to settle. It will then be left to our numerous game winners in Grealish, Snoddy, Adomah, Grabban, Kodjia to produce the magic to win us the game. At home this season we have been more than a match for the better sides in this division and given that we will out number and out sing the Fulham mob on Saturday this will be very much like a home game for us.

I might have spared a thought for Fulham at some stage after full time on Saturday. I won't now though as their arrogance and ignorance means they'll be getting everything they deserve and at least one more season in the Championship.

I think a bit of journalistic licence used to be fair. He said villa are older ( they are ) and that he hopes they we will tire when they run at us. I just dont want the team getting too wound up based on quotes from the opposing manager which to be fair are not really what he actually said so...much about nothing. We need to deliver a performance saturday. Get the prep right, hopefully we have done. Clear heads . Control the controllables as they say!

He used the word old whixh I think totally disrespectful to our players. If they didn't need motivating enough these words will hopefully bring out the best of the "oldies"

No it was an arrogant post regardless of the score. To go on another teams forum and gob off like that isn't particularly wise. These Fulham fans are getting rather irritating in the run up to this match.

I’ve no complaints if Fulham shock and awe us with fast precise deadly football exposing our ageing legs for what they are. Problem is, that just is not the case, and their manager has over reached somewhat. Makes you wonder if the nerves are actually getting to him. If so, great, it will affect the team.

Haha! I just came into this thread to post that very same thing.

Work colleagues all week have been asking me how i feel about the match and I've been responding with 'haven't really thought too much about it'. Then suddenly on the way to work today it dawned on me just how **** big a deal this match is.

Can't stop bloody thinking about it now!
