poitier
I've heard he is quick, so that is very much welcome given our lack of pace in the CB/DM positions.
TRO
Like all things that benefit both sides....I would think the prospect of Axel learning off John Terry.....is a very real thought in Jose's mind.

Ulloa won't come here to be Hogan's back up!

He'd get guaranteed football in the Championship. He is a bigger talent than Fosu-Mensah who is getting some good game time in the Premier League. Kuwabatake Sanjuro
As a signing I really hope he slots into the the defensive midfield role and Bruce doesn't upset the balance of the team by going to a back 3. If done right it could go down as an inspired signing.
Adam2003
A United supporting friend whose opinion I trust thinks he should be starting in defensive midfield for them. I haven’t watched him (or watched them for a while to be honest) but on that basis, even if he’s getting really carried away, I’m guessing there’s a good chance this kid will do a better job than Whelan, Jedinak or BB (no disrespect to any of them), plus be cover elsewhere.

I'm afraid you should stop trusting your friend. No he shouldn't be starting in defensive midfield for us at all. Matic is quite simply far better, its ridiculous to even suggest. He is a CB, there is no debate about what his position is, sure he can play DM but he is a CB. He certainly isn't better than a top DM in Matic. Despite being very poor this season, Ander Herrera had a great season at DM last season as well.

Vive_La_Villa
'You see they’re a passing side. They’re not just kick it up and head it, you know, they like to play and that’s what intrigued me to come here' You sure about that Axel? Clearly you've never heard of Bruce ball! Well yeah I mean he’s a United fan so I’m not saying he’s that bright... maybe he meant centre back but I’m sure he said defensive midfield. Anyway, fingers crossed this helps the cause! Ulloa for me is not a signing I want. I agree we need a striker but and a backup striker is what I want.

We cannot rely on hogan not getting injured - ulloa would provide serious competition and play games where as now he is getting nothing - totally different kind of loan to axel who is a young player coming for games . ulloa is out of the picture totally at Leicester - at villa he would be part of the squad and likely break into the side if he came . hogan has the shirt now but we can’t be sure he will stay fit and the alternatives are poor . 1
