Dr_Pangloss Posted November 24, 2019 Share Posted November 24, 2019 With respect to our lot it's not at all clear to me that Newcastle have that much of a 'worse squad' than ours. If you were to assemble a joint team between the two it'd be pretty well balanced between the two clubs at this stage. useless Posted November 24, 2019 Share Posted November 24, 2019 Newcastle have a squad that's finished midtable the last two seasons and spent ÂŁ60m plus in the summer, most neutrals would say that they've a better squad overall than us. We can still beat them though, and finish above them, just like teams with a weaker squad than ours, can beat and finish above us, as we saw whilst we were in the championship. brummybloke Posted November 25, 2019 Share Posted November 25, 2019 Jack needs to be the left elghazi on the right and CH McGinn and either marvellous or doug lewis as the 3 in the middle. CH creates goals and scores them , that's what wins games. With jack drawing fouls all round the box its ideal for CH, we dont often look like scoring from open play.
