Yes it's not pretty, but he has a squad of players that have never played together before until part way through a season. It's improving and with a pre season behind them they will be fine in this league. A couple more quality players and we will be more than fine. How hard is it for a manager to instruct professional footballers to pass and move? He talks a good fight, but nothing about him impresses me . People get childish and start throwing out stats without acknowledging variables. I am also worried about the football and a bit cautious about the next season under Bruce. However I was also one who called for him to be sacked right before we went on our remarkable run. (Perhaps time, faith, belief and bonding helped this?) There is no point scoring to be done here. The average naysayer would love to have their words shoved down their throats. However I genuinely think some of you would like to see us fail just for your personal "I told you so" and "i'm a smarter fan than you" moments. Since then we've taken 48 points from 30 games at 1.6 points per game. If we'd picked up points at that rate all season we'd currently be on 66 points (3 points off the playoffs) and over a full season we'd get 74 (there or thereabouts for playoffs most seasons). Given what he inherited, could he improve on this with a full pre season and a few quality additions? I'd argue yes he could and I don't really see any argument for getting rid of him at this point.
